ZeniMax’s support guidance says traders are mainly in zone capitals, with others in overworld zones and Outlaw’s Refuges. A trader visibly displays the name of its hiring guild, so the fastest fact check is to visit the kiosk and inspect it yourself.
Guilds compete through blind weekly bids. They may bid on up to ten traders, but can be awarded only one. The winning bid provides the trader for the following full week; other bids are refunded. An un-hired trader can also be rented for the remaining portion of that bid cycle. This system means yesterday’s popular guild or famous location is not proof of today’s listing venue. It also means a guild that fails to win a preferred kiosk may appear somewhere else for the week.
Best first choice: a guild with a verified current trader
The best Xbox trader guild is usually the one whose live kiosk you can confirm, whose rules you can meet, and whose location makes sense for the items you list. Visit the location, speak to the trader, check the displayed guild name, then open the Guild Store. Look at the volume and types of listings rather than assuming every capital has identical demand. A high-visibility site may suit frequent crafting materials or popular consumables, while a smaller guild can be more comfortable for occasional sales with less demanding requirements.
Ask the guild directly where it is currently trading and where it intends to bid next. A responsible guild can state its Xbox region, current kiosk, requirements, and whether members are expected to pay dues, meet sales totals, donate, or participate in raffles. Treat Mournhold, Wayrest, Elden Root, Vivec City, Alinor, and Rawl’kha as places to inspect in your own Xbox region, not as guaranteed top positions.
Make a short route through a few hubs after the weekly turnover. Record the guild name at each kiosk and search recruitment listings or guild chat for the groups that interest you. Then compare the actual terms. A guild in a famous hub with a requirement you cannot sustain is worse than a consistent guild in a less celebrated location where you can list, communicate, and remain in good standing.
