Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s hero balance shifts every patch, and lifesteal is one of the traits most affected by item and hero tuning — Patch 2.1.90 (the current patch as of this writing) specifically reworked Rose Gold Meteor around lifesteal-to-hybrid-defense conversion and adjusted lifesteal stats on both Haas’ Claws and Demon Hunter Sword, so builds that worked a few patches ago may not sustain the same way today. Here’s where lifesteal actually sits right now, by hero and by item.
Heroes built around lifesteal
Ruby
Ruby got a base damage buff in Patch 2.1.90 while keeping her signature trait: clutch low-HP lifesteal that spikes when she’s cornered. Her passive converts a chunk of damage dealt into healing, and stacking lifesteal items on top of that base kit makes her one of the hardest fighters in the game to finish off in a 1v1.
Alucard
Alucard’s ultimate is built entirely around sustain — activating it can push his lifesteal up toward 100% for its duration, turning a losing trade into a winning one purely off basic-attack healing. He remains one of the most recognizable lifesteal-fighter picks in the roster.
Masha
Masha’s three-HP-bar system means her physical lifesteal scales up every time she loses a bar, so she gets tankier and harder to kill the longer a fight drags on — a hero purpose-built to punish opponents who don’t burst her down fast.
Silvanna
Silvanna’s ultimate, Circle of Light, grants magic lifesteal alongside a big attack-speed boost, letting her sustain through extended skirmishes rather than relying on burst damage alone.
Edith
In her Primal Wrath transformed state, Edith gains a large chunk of magic lifesteal plus a shield and extra attack speed, making her one of the tankier lifesteal picks for the exp lane or jungle.
Dyrroth
Dyrroth’s reputation as a ranked staple comes partly from how well he sustains through lifesteal items on top of his true-damage passive, letting him trade into squishier heroes without needing to fully burst them.
Items that make lifesteal builds work
Endless Battle and Queen’s Wings are the two most commonly cited core items for a lifesteal-fighter build, since both combine lifesteal with burst or shield effects rather than lifesteal alone. Immortality is the standard follow-up item for extended fights, effectively buying a second engage after a bad trade. As of Patch 2.1.90, Rose Gold Meteor has shifted toward hybrid defense rather than pure lifesteal, and Malefic Gun took a nerf, so double-check current item tooltips in-game before locking in a build — the numbers move every patch.
Building a lifesteal hero
Most lifesteal-focused fighters want at least one core lifesteal item (Endless Battle or Queen’s Wings) completed before a defensive item, since lifesteal only sustains you if you’re actually dealing damage in fights. Immortality is worth delaying until mid-game once you’re already winning trades — building it too early sacrifices damage output you need to make lifesteal meaningful in the first place. Because item tuning changes so often, cross-check whatever build you’re running against the current patch notes rather than an older guide.
