The strongest Town Hall 10 attack built around Hog Riders is Queen Charge Mass Hogs, an upgraded version of the classic Mass Hogs strategy that adds a Queen Charge to strip key defenses before the hog swarm goes in. It’s the strategy most competitive TH10 players lean on specifically because Hog Riders target defenses directly and can walk straight through an Inferno Tower, the single strongest defense at this Town Hall.
Troop composition
- 23 Hog Riders — the core damage-dealing wave
- 5 Healers — kept behind the Queen and hog pack to offset splash damage
- 2 Baby Dragons — mop-up air support after the ground push
- 6 Wall Breakers — open compartments the hogs can’t path around
- 2 Balloons — extra defense-clearing support
- 3 Wizards, 1 Archer — funnel and cleanup troops
- Barbarian King and Archer Queen — the Queen leads the charge into the base
Spell loadout
- 3 Heal Spells — dropped under the Hog Rider pack as it crosses splash-damage zones
- 2 Rage Spells — used during the Queen Charge and again during the main hog push
- 1 Freeze Spell — saved for a stacked Inferno Tower or a multi-mortar cluster
Clan Castle request
Request Hog Riders for the Clan Castle troop slot, plus a Siege Barrack if your Town Hall allows it, and ask for a Poison Spell in the Clan Castle spell slot to clear defending Clan Castle troops before they reach your hogs.
How the attack plays out
- Send the Archer Queen with 2-3 Healers behind her to snipe key defenses (the enemy’s own Queen, Clan Castle troops, and any exposed Inferno Tower) and open a funnel.
- Deploy Wall Breakers ahead of the hog pack to breach compartments the hogs would otherwise path around.
- Release the Hog Riders in a wide spread along the funnel, following behind with the remaining Healers to keep the pack alive through splash damage.
- Time Rage Spells for the moment the hogs hit the base’s core, and hold the Freeze Spell for the highest-damage defense left standing.
- Clean up remaining buildings with the Baby Dragons, Balloons, and support troops.
When to use it
Queen Charge Mass Hogs works best against bases with spread-out or exposed Inferno Towers and Air Defenses that don’t wall off the hogs’ ground path. Against a heavily walled, compartmentalized base, expect to lean more on Wall Breakers and Rage timing than on raw hog count.
